Financial Controller

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for a Financial Controller to work for our well known, growing Mansfield based client.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoying mentoring team members and a varied role.

Duties to include:

• ensure all operational tasks are completed accurately and on time to produce all financial reports
• improve reporting capabilities and information sharing
• support the payroll, data analysis and HR departments
• Review and sign off the monthly management accounts
• Provide commentary to and review the group reporting pack
• Drive improvements in financial processes and information
• Own the annual budgeting process
• Sit as part of the senior team offering insight
• Review and sign off monthly payroll
• Support Data analyst with priorities and workload management to achieve organisational goals
• Support Office Manager with escalation of HR issues
• Support Facilities with purchasing decisions
• Support business wide projects including operational efficiencies and system implementations

Person Specification

• Qualified accountant with drive to complete tasks and improve business processes and information
• Someone who is happy to work at all levels of the business with previous SME experience desirable
• Professional, articulate, and confident with outstanding communication skills
• Be able to make decisions and prioritise workload, working to tight deadlines
