What Will You Do

  • Lead and support the Management Accountants
  • Reviewand analysis of the monthly management accounts for the parks challenging areasthat require further investigation and having a clear understanding ofvariances against prior year and budget in order to communicate to seniormanagement
  • Preparationof budgets and forecasts for the parks
  • Preparemonthly caravan sales gross profit reconciliation and review including monthend accrual routines
  • Accuratelyprepare and post accruals, prepayments and margins for each of the parks on aweekly basis
  • Providingfinancial support to the park managers and making recommendations
  • Answeringqueries from the park managers, the Financial Controller and the Executive team
  • Seekevery opportunity to refine process efficiency and ensure policy &procedure documentation is up to date, complete and relevant
  • Challengeexisting processes and make recommendations driving continuous efficiency andimprovements
  • Preparationand review of weekly sales reports
  • Gas,electricity, water and rates recharges calculations and running of the meterreading/invoicing process
  • Preparationof allocated month end balance sheet reconciliations ensuring reconciled on aregular basis posting journals as required
  • Assistexternal auditors with queries and provide accurate information on a timelybasis
  • Assiston year end statutory accounts preparation
  • Meetall company deadlines; working closely with all relevant stakeholders toensure all deadlines are met and all requirements fulfilled
  • Personallyinteract and network with the team at central services and on park to encouragea culture of ongoing positive relationships to benefit and promote the business
  • Respondto enquiries and requests from colleagues positively to promote effective andfriendly working relationships
  • Contributeto the wider strategic objectives of the Group including operations on parks

What Will You Bring

  • At least 2+ Years PQE ACA/ACCA /CIMA qualifications
  • Internal customer orientation,with proven experience of facilitating informed decision making
  • Positive attitude and keen tolearn
  • Ideally from a multi-site consumer facing business, whilst not criticalit would be highly advantageous
  • Good understanding of financialtransactions including double entry bookkeeping
  • Methodical, accurate and able tomeet deadlines
  • Advanced and proficientexperience using Excel including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and basic formulas
  • Able to communicate at alllevels of the business, to a wide range of internal customers
  • Excellent numeracy andcommunication skills
  • Able to work within a fast-pacedenvironment
  • Enjoy the challenge of ad-hocprojects
  • Happy to travel to our holidayparks around the country
