Finishing Foreman - New Build Housing Site

Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced and proactive Finishing Foreman to join a new build housing project in Bridgend. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes in residential construction.
Key Duties:
Oversee and coordinate all internal finishing works on site, including plastering, painting, joinery, flooring, and snagging.
Ensure high standards of workmanship are maintained throughout the final stages of the build.
Work closely with site management, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress and timely completion.
Conduct and manage snagging and de-snagging works to ensure properties are delivered to a high standard.
Support the project manager in maintaining health & safety, quality, and programme targets.
Act as a point of contact for resolving on-site finishing issues swiftly and efficiently.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a finishing foreman or similar role within the housebuilding sector.
Strong technical knowledge of all finishing trades.
Ability to read drawings and work to programme deadlines.
CSCS card.
SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred).
First Aid certification (desirable).
Proactive, practical approach with strong leadership skills.
Willingness to be hands-on where needed to get the job done.
