Working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor
We are currently on the look out for an Finishing Manager for an immediate start on the first phase of a large residential development in the City of Westminster.
You would be joining a large Tier 1 Main contractor on this estate project. First phase is currently at finishing stage, where you will predominantly be overseeing all finsihing/snagging/defect tasks of a block at a time.
This scheme will generate 760 high quality homes, being one of the largest affordable home schemes in the area. The first phase comprises of 2 blocks, 226 homes, including outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively drive and complete daily tasks set out by your manager
- Take apartments to completion
- Manage and motivate subcontractors and site personnel
- Complete snag lists, defects and remedial works
- Work on fieldview
- Ensure all finishing work meets standards
- Must be strong in internals, and proven experience as a Finishing Manager
- High pressure and fast pace site as handover is due in November
- Snagging, desnagging and handing over plots to management
Key experience and must haves:
- Has used fieldview before
- CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS
- Experience working on a site carrying out your daily tasks
- Experience on large resdiential developments
- Strong references showcasing ambition, intiative and proactive attributes
