Job Title: Finishing Manager
Location: Telford
Contract Type: Freelance - Until October
Start Date: Monday 30th June

Linsco are currently seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join a leading residential contractor on a new build housing development. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the final stages of construction, ensuring high-quality finishes and delivering homes to the expected standard, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and work with all finishing trades on-site (e.g. carpentry, painting, flooring, snagging, etc.)
• Ensure all work is completed to specification and in line with quality standards
• Liaise with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Report on progress, issues, and timelines to the project team

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finishing Manager on new build housing developments
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades and quality standards
• Excellent eye for detail and commitment to delivering a quality product
• Good communication and coordination skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
