• Preparing enquiry and subcontract documents
• Subcontract negotiation
• Take off and forming of bills of quantities
• Analysing subcontract tenders
• Estimating
• Change Management, ensuring that timely notices, cost assessments etc. are provided in accordance with the subcontract conditions
• Quotations for additional works
• Application for payment
• Subcontract payments
• Claims production and management
• Final accounts
• Project co-ordination reporting
• Production and efficiency analysis

Qualifications, role specific Knowledge & Skills

Essential:

• Experience as a quantity surveyor or commercial management in the FM, utility and/or construction industry or similar
• Working knowledge of SFG20, labour loading, development of PPMs and optimised delivery planning
• HNC/HND/Degree in commercial management or quantity surveying
• Thorough knowledge of forms of contract including NEC, JCT
• Experience working for a main contractor, preferable.

Desirable:

• Experience of working in high security sites
• Experience of BIM
