We are seeking a Foreman in Kent to join a large civils project, working in an effective and forward thinking team. You will be working alongside a Project Manager and will be responsible for labour, plant safety, and cost-effective production.
Our client is heavily orientated around company culture with a second to none employee retention rate. Being around for almost 100 years, they are a well respected civil engineering and construction contractor with specialisms in design, environment and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the workmanship and quality of the works
- Ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments
- Support the Site Manager in implementing health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all sites through audits and records
- Carry out site inductions to all personnel, daily briefings and toolbox talks
- Ensuring the clerk of works/inspectors check work prior to covering up
- Ensure time sheets are fully completed and are accurate for the hours worked on site
Requirements:
- Site Supervision experience within Civil Engineering & Construction
- SSSTS or SMSTS certificate
- In-date CSCS certificate
- HND/C Civil Engineering or NVQ L3/4 in Construction Site Supervision
