My client is a very successful office fit out contractor with multiple blue-chip clients. They have built a solid reputation in the industry by producing projects to a very high standard. They are well established and provide their services across all the UK
Job role
They require a Senior Site Manager to take over an ongoing project from the existing Site Manager. You will oversee a multi floor office fit out and refurbishment with a duration of 8/10 weeks left to run on the project (circa value £2.7m). The project is a full internal CAT B fit out with high end finishes. As well as day to day management you will need to keep regular contact and communication with the building manager on weekly deliveries to make sure things run smoothly
Experience required
- Strong background in fit out and refurbishment (Commercial office fit outs preferred)
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid certificates required.
- Worked on projects with a value up to £2m plus
- Must be able to conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
- Must be confident in conducting site, client and progress meetings
- Be able to manage a full site program to complete projects on time and to budget
- Motivate Sub-contractors and trades on site
- Produce regular and clear progress reports
- Proficient in Editing and creating programs if required
