Reed Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced site groundworker/labourer for our client who are a leading Civil Engineering, Surfacing, Building, Drainage and Smalls Work company. The role is initially based on site at a project in Eastleigh.

About you

Essential - CSCS CardEssential - 12 months experience within the construction industryDesirable - S/NVQ Groundwork, CPCS Dumper, Roller, 360 Excavator

The role

• To ensure that the groundworks on all projects are completed in accordance with the timescale provided wherever possible and to identify and communicate any likely over-runs or barriers to the progression of a project immediately after being identified.
• To attend inductions, training, briefing and other appointments as directed by the site supervisor and/or manager
• To maintain a satisfactory level of cleanliness throughout the site.
• To ensure that all work sites are suitably protected from potential damage and for the protection of others in accordance with the current quality and safety Management Systems.
• To ensure that all tools used for conducting construction work are in a good state of repair, are fit for purpose, meet all required legislative guidelines and when in use follow all Health & Safety requirements.
• To identify any project risks and communicate them to the supervisor and/or manager immediately.
