Full Time Contract (5 months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a HR Officer in Taunton. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The employer can offer hybrid working with 2 days a week working from the office.

The job:

• Provide professional advice, guidance and support to managers, headteachers and governors on a wide range of employment and related issues
• Deliver options, progress and solutions on a range of casework including (but not exhaustive) recruitment, performance, investigations, disciplinary, grievances and interpretation of terms and conditions of service
• Support and guide service managers in dealing with investigations and disciplinary and other conduct matters to support and protect the interests of the business
• Support Senior HR Advisors and other managers in conducting employee relations, consultations and collective bargaining with employees and trade union
• Contribute to service led projects and business initiatives from a people management perspective

The candidate:

• Experienced in managing HR Casework which may include sickness, grievances and disciplinaries
• Knowledge of TUPE Regulations
• Sustained experience in an Employee Relations operational HR role within a large organisation with a diverse workforce
• CIPD membership is desirable
