Be-Resourcing is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an Indirect Tax Assistant Manager to join our client s growing team, with flexibility to be based in any of their UK offices.
This is a fantastic role for a tax professional with experience in indirect tax who s ready to step into a leadership position. You ll play a key role in managing compliance processes, supporting advisory work and helping clients navigate complex VAT and indirect tax matters. You ll be joining a people-first team that values collaboration, innovation and continuous development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of indirect tax compliance
- Provide clear, practical advice on VAT and other indirect tax matters
- Review and oversee the work of junior team members, offering guidance and support
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client relationships
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and apply this knowledge to client work
- Support the wider team with advisory projects, technical research, and client proposals
- Contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing across the team
What We re Looking For:
- Experience in an indirect tax role within a professional services or in-house environment
- Strong technical knowledge of VAT and related taxes
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Experience mentoring junior staff
- A proactive mindset with a desire to grow and develop
- CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
