Infrastructure Manager - Up to £90,000 + Excellent Benefits - Hybrid Working

Overview:
We are privileged to collaborate with a global leader in Education Management, who is committed to providing innovative solutions to our clients worldwide. As an Modern Workplace Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's strategic and technical roadmap of cloud platforms. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all Modern Workplace operations supporting approximately 100k users across four regions.

Your role will require a balance of leadership, technical administration, and development skills, and you will be accountable for managing, monitoring, and securing all cloud services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the in-house expert for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 estates, overseeing all aspects of the platforms.
• Manage, monitor, and secure cloud services and infrastructure with the latest controls and standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Modern Workplace team, ensuring the successful management of both BAU and project work.
• Collaborate with various IT departments to provide solutions supporting projects and future technologies.
• Implement and configure Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies using Microsoft Intune or other EMS tools to secure mobile devices.
• Identify and resolve problems with the cloud infrastructure, staying updated with the latest cloud technologies.
• Review cloud infrastructure costs regularly and implement improvements for optimization.
• Drive efficiency across support ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
• Work closely with other ITSM, Applications, and Cyber teams to ensure a coordinated approach to security and platform management.
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard client data, devices, and communications within the modern workplace environment.
• Configure and maintain identity management solutions, such as Azure Active Directory, to enforce secure user authentication and access policies.

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience in Microsoft Azure and Modern Workplace with a focus on implementing client solutions.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft cloud services, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of EMS technologies, including Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and Conditional Access.
• Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and application management concepts.
• Track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence.
• Experience with security assessment methodologies and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience in dealing with large global Microsoft 365 migrations/implementations post-M&A.

Package:

• £85,000/£90,000 Basic Salary
• + Excellent Benefits
• Hybrid Working, onsite in London once a week.
