Construction Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Installation Manager to head up our clients expanding installation department. Our company is a leader in the Fire & Security Industry, known for our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Role Overview:
The Installation Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our installation department, ensuring efficient project delivery and superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role or over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a strong desire to progress into a management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the installation department.
  • Lead the project team, including installation/commissioning engineers and project administrators.
  • Oversee and manage fire and security system projects from initiation to completion.
  • Plan internal resources and subcontractors for project execution.
  • Head up recruitment for installation and commissioning engineers to support department growth.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Responsible for P&L on project works.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant British standards for fire and security system installations.
  • Track month-end progress claims.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role or 10+ years as a Project Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Fire & Security Industry, including product developments.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Skilled in staff development and identifying training needs within the installation team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Good timekeeping and organisational skills.
