Interim CAPEX Procurement ManagerRemote / Hybrid
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain Interim Team are currently looking for an Interim CAPEX Procurement manager for a well-establish business in the West Yorkshire Region
Due to an exciting period of investment, the business is looking for a highly experienced Interim CAPEX Procurement Specialist to manage a business-critical project.
This is paying a day rate of up to £120,000 equivalent salary (PAYE) - proven experience dependant.
Main duties include:
- Lead the Procurement cycle Managing the full cycle from concept, design, specification, build, tender, reward, mobilisation and handover of key CAPEX projects - focussing on new equipment and service/parts contracts
- Responsible for leveraging spend, capability and optimise capital investment opportunities
- Manage supplier performance & dispute resolution
- Procurement lead in kick-off meetings and post contract award performance review meetings
- Determine category and sub-category strategy and provide risk mitigation through appropriate frameworks
Ideal candidate:
- Manufacturing / FMCG / Chemical / Oil & Gas backgrounds would lend itself well to this role
- Experienced in procurement of equipment and services, including contracts (ideally familiar with NEC, JCT or EPC suite of terms or similar)
- Experience of Procurement reporting such as Procurement Status Report, Expediting and Budget Forecasts
- Able to commit fully to the contract period and have the ability to work remotely under own drive and organisation
