We are recognised as a centre of clinical excellence and providing district general hospital services and specialist tertiary services to our local community. What you ll be responsible for: Ensure the sorting and distribution of mail both electronic and paper form where appropriate, prioritising and expediting accordingly. Arranging and ensuring administrative support for meetings, events, courses and or conferences, within the Trust and outside as and when required. This may also involve making catering and travel arrangements. Input data into the Trust s learning management systems with accuracy and efficiency. Ensure training and other records in Learning and Development Support Services systems are up to date and audited when required. Develop effective links with local stakeholders through relevant groups within the Trust and external partners where necessary. Escalate issues to the post-holders line manager when necessary, offering a range of possible solutions to issues that have arisen. Maintain effective relationships with key partners, establishing productive working relationships with managers within the Trust Assist in the production of all project documentation such as Project Initiation Document, Project Workbook, Risk Register and Quality Impact Assessment; Plan and organise activities in relation to implementing the programme agenda, facilitating a multidisciplinary, multi-organisation and collaborative approach to project management. To set up and maintain an efficient document storage system and ensure an active archiving system is set up and maintained. Responding to enquiries received in the team shared email addresses, ensuring issues are communicated with management where responses are beyond their remit. You ll learn the following whilst working at the trust: An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation You ll have the following skills/experience: General education to GCSE standard or equivalent. NVQ L3 Business & Admin or equivalent. Administrative/relevant experience within a healthcare environment. Excellent organisational skills Excellent communication skills Excellent telephone manner Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
