We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join as a Lifeline Manager for our East Anglia service. This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week and in return you will receive a salary of up to £32,894.59 per annum plus excellent benefits.
The role will be based in West Norfolk with daily travel in the East Anglia area as necessary for the role. Cats Protection is operating a system of hybrid working, with the flexibility to working from home when appropriate. This can be discussed further at interview stage.

Cats Protection s Lifeline is a pet fostering service for anyone fleeing domestic abuse. The majority of our referrals come from women fleeing domestic abuse via women-only services. The service places cats into volunteer foster homes on a temporary basis until their owners can be reunited with them.
Due to the nature of this role, this post is for women only and is exempt under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
Responsibilities of our Lifeline Manger:
As Lifeline Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of this service including line management of the Lifeline Caseworkers, facilitating the support & work across East Anglia. You will be responsible for recruiting and managing the project volunteers as well as promoting and developing the service. Part of this role involves transporting cats and regular driving across East Anglia, so candidates should have a full UK driving license. An understanding of the problems faced by families fleeing domestic abuse with pets is expected.
What we re looking for in our Lifeline Manger:
- experience of working with or on behalf of vulnerable adults/families
- experience of recruitment, managing and supporting volunteers
- excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relations
- ability to deal with sensitive situations and cope under pressure in an appropriate manner
- strong organisational skills and able to prioritise and manage workload
- a full, clean, manual UK driving licence and experience of driving as part of a previous role
- good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
