Location: NIRAS Edinburgh office ideally (hybrid working available). Alternatively, Glasgow (WFH) and Ascot (office based or hybrid) are acceptable

Our UK operations are expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Maritime Project Manager to play a key role in delivering complex maritime projects across various regions, including the UK, Africa, Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
The Role
As a Maritime Project Manager, you will take a leading role in the successful delivery of large-scale maritime development projects. You will work across multiple disciplines, engaging with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and internal expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate projects from inception through to execution on site.
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver projects within budget, quality, and schedule constraints.
- Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Work closely with developers, clients, and industry partners to secure and deliver projects.
- Establish and maintain a strong network of subconsultants and suppliers to enhance project capabilities.
- Support bidding activities and proposal development to win new projects.
- Provide expert project leadership in maritime engineering, ensuring projects align with sustainability goals.
- Ensure that safety is a priority, embedding best practices and compliance into all project phases.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering maritime projects. The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in active involvement and project management of maritime projects, with 8 to 10 years of post-graduate experience
- Working knowledge of forms of contract such as NEC, FIDIC, and ICC
- Experience in the use of ERP systems
- Knowledge of the CDM (2015) Regulations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
