Summary

LGBR is an independent, outsourced distribution team for asset managers. We operate across long-only funds, alternative & closed-end funds, tax-advantaged products, and structured products.

We are one of the largest distributors in the UK market in terms of resources, breadth of product, AUM and geographies covered:

  • people across sales, marketing & events, and operations
  • +£10bn raised for our asset managers since 2012
  • The whole of UK Professional market coverage (with a focus on the top 9,000 firms)
  • All aspects of distribution covered (product design, marketing, events, sales)
  • A diverse range of asset manager clients, including boutique and larger asset manager firms
  • Diverse product range for distribution, across fund type (long only, alternative, tax-efficient), asset class (equities, fixed income, unlisted), and geography (UK, US, EU)

We are a fast-paced and high-energy employer that has a strong team ethos. We are looking for a marketing executive to work within a dynamic team to deliver results for us and our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with several stakeholders including clients, fund managers, colleagues, suppliers, and business partners
  • Executing marketing strategies for our clients, including coordinating the internal and external stakeholders involved
  • Content generation for multiple fund manager clients and products
  • Writing and proofreading copy
  • Production and design of marketing materials, including presentations, factsheets, newsletters, email campaigns, videos, and other financial promotions
  • Liaising with financial compliance to sign off marketing materials
  • Assisting in the organisation of client events and attending events to ensure they run smoothly
  • Updating website content and assisting in the creation of new websites
  • Managing social media content
  • Evaluating and collating feedback from marketing campaigns
  • Researching new marketing ideas and competitors
  • Ad hoc projects as required, as part of the wider marketing team

Candidate Profile

  • At least second class degree
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry. Financial marketing experience is preferable
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own workload to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in content writing is preferable
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Able to adapt and work within a fast-paced environment?
