M&E Sales and Planning Executive - art'otel Hoxton
We are recruiting for one of the Coolest Hotels in Hoxton! Long revered as London's effortlessly cool cultural core, Hoxton's hip new resident has hit the scene. The 26-floor art'otel Hoxton has a dazzling skyline view, ample gallery space, plus two Banksy originals preserved and on public display. With 357 guest bedrooms and suites, 10 Meetings and Events spaces, auditorium, a lounge, gym and two destination restaurants.
As our M&E Sales and Planning Executive, you will receive:
- Two wellness days per year, meaning all team members start with 30 days of holiday per year (pro rata) - these increase with service!
- Salary: £36,200 per annum plus service charge

As a Master of your Craft, you will
- Respond to all M&E enquiries in timely manner and converting them into confirmed bookings.
- Generate quotes based on guidelines provided by Revenue & Pricing Manager and sending it out to potential clients.
- Use negotiating skills, strong judgement, and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts as well as upsell where possible to ensure M&E targets and budgets are achieved.
- Conduct client show arounds and menu tastings when applicable. o Issuing contracts and deposit requests for confirmed business.
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure smooth event planning process for the client and return business. Always going extra mile to accommodate client's needs.
- Work closely with M&E operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth event delivery. Producing clear and accurate BEOs, attending weekly BEO meetings, handing over to the team in charge on the day. Staying for the first couple of hours on the day of the event might be required for large scale events.
- Support M&E Sales and Planning Manager with reporting and Ad Hoc projects when required.
