Job Title: Mechanical Contracts DirectorLocation: Portsmouth, HampshireSalary: C£85,000 plus package - based on experience

HAYS are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical contracting company serving clients across Hampshire. With a strong portfolio of projects, we specialise in industrial, MOD (Ministry of Defence), educational, commercial, and pharmaceutical installations.
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Director to lead our team. As a strategic leader, you will oversee the successful execution of mechanical contracts, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage mechanical contracts across diverse sectors, including industrial, MOD, educational, commercial, and pharmaceutical projects.Team Leadership: Supervise project managers, engineers, and site teams, ensuring efficient project delivery.Client Engagement: fostering strong relationships with clients, addressing enquiries, providing updates, and ensuring project alignment with client expectations.Budget and Schedule Control: Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality benchmarks.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective solutions.Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate terms and agreements.Health and Safety: Uphold safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the organisation.Qualifications and Experience:
