Connect Grp UK are recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager for a new build residential project in Cambridge.

The project consists of all aspects of 1st & 2nd fix installations on an apartment block including PVC, MLC and copper press pipework.

You will be required to hold a valid CSCS with SSSTS or SMSTS is required. Previous experience in delivering similar projects is preferred along with 1st aid qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, including milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.
• Manage all mechanical subcontractors, ensuring high quality standards.
• Prepare and submit necessary applications for building permits and statutory approvals.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of mechanical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to the project schedule and budget.
• Monitor progress and identify potential risks and issues proactively.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and industry best practices.
• Manage and resolve any site-related issues, including coordination with other trades and addressing any unforeseen challenges.

Rate: £350 a day

Hours: 8.00-17.00 (9hrs a day)

Duration: 12 months+
