Job Title: National Sales Manager - Reinforced Concrete FrameIndustry Sector: Consulting Engineers, Structural Engineers, Construction Engineers, Concrete Framing Contractors, Groundworker Contractors, Punching Shear Reinforcement, Thermal Break Balcony Connection Systems & Dowels, Formwork and Ground Heave Systems. Area to be covered: National with London & South East focusRemuneration: £85,000 Neg. + up to 20% BonusBenefits: Generous Car Allowance & Full BenefitsThe role of the National Sales Manager Reinforced Concrete Frame will involve:

  • Field sales management position selling a wide range of reinforced concrete framing systems, including punching shear reinforcement, thermal break balcony connection systems & dowels, plus a range of formwork related products, including permanent formwork and ground heave systems.
  • National role, but currently 80%-90% of the projects are near Greater London/ M25
  • Initially responsible for a team of 3 BDM's (with a view to growing this to 5 over the next couple of years) and 7 internal project sales co-ordinators (headed up by a long established and well respected Internal Sales Manager)
  • Inhering a team currently achieving circa £12m
  • Tasked with growing revue to £12.9m this year
  • Managing, developing and mentoring the sales team
  • Assisting with building and developing relationships and contract negotiations within structural engineers, as well as groundwork and concrete frame contractors
  • Operational management and control of sales
  • Increasing awareness of their systems with structural engineers/ getting involved with CPD presentation to structural engineering practices
  • Working as part of the company's senior management team with longer term further advancement opportunities available for successful tenures

The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager Reinforced Concrete Frame with:

  • Construction industry experience, ideally worked for a manufacturer
  • Specification field sales experience with structural engineers (comfortable with CPD Seminars etc.)
  • Must have sold structural building products/ heavyside building materials
  • Proven track record in man management (heavy hitter, comfortable with a seat on the senior management team)
  • Previous experience of managing relationships with groundwork contractors, concrete frame contractors and/ or main contractors may be beneficial
  • Familiarity with punching shear reinforcement, thermal break balcony connection systems & dowels, plus a range of formwork related products, including permanent formwork and ground heave systems. would be very useful
