Network Architect - MUST HAVE A VALID DV
We are currently seeking an experienced Network Architect to join a high-profile digital transformation programme for a major government client. This role is critical to delivering a technical refresh across key networking infrastructure, including firewalls and secure communications components.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a large-scale tech refresh project, primarily involving Cisco firewalls and Enterprise Catapans
Update existing design documentation to reflect the integration of new networking devices
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver implementation and migration activities
Ensure smooth handover of refreshed components to the BAU (Business as Usual) support teams
Provide regular progress updates and technical input to the project manager
Contribute to planning and adapting project deliverables in response to any scope or technical changes
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, particularly around firewalls
Proven experience in network design, architecture and documentation
Previous involvement in network refresh or infrastructure upgrade projects
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
