Description
The main responsibilities for the Operations Manager role are:
Operational Excellence:
- Lead operational and administrative functions for Dibden Churches and St Andrew's Coffee House Limited.
- Coordinate events to foster connections within the local community.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices for safety and quality.
- Integrate staff and volunteers seamlessly into the church's life and mission.
- Collaborate with the Fabric & Maintenance team for building management and enhancement projects.
Administrative Mastery:
- Streamline day-to-day operations, implementing efficient systems.
- Enhance record-keeping for accuracy and compliance.
- Support IT utilisation and GDPR compliance.
- Spearhead initiatives such as the A Rocha Bronze level Eco Church Award application.
- Optimise communication channels, including web and social media platforms.
Financial Oversight:
- Assist the Treasurer in financial management and control.
- Manage operational invoices and procurement processes.
- Ensure banking arrangements align with organisational needs.
Human Resources Leadership:
- Line-manage various staff roles, fostering a supportive work environment.
- Champion volunteer recruitment best practices.
- Perform HR duties including recruiting, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with Diocesan HR for employee support and policy alignment.
