        We are working in partnership with a large multi-site FMCG manufacturer who are currently seeking a Payroll and Administration Assistant due to exciting growth.
Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, the role will support the Group Payroll Assistant with the end-to-end payroll process of 1,500+ employees. You will be working within an expanding senor team with responsibility for supporting with annual returns, Companies House returns and ad hoc administrative duties.
THE ROLE:
- Aid the end-to-end processing of payroll.
- Assist with processing temporary / permanent changes to employee s payroll records.
- Support with pension administration for over 1,500 employees.
- Liaise with HR, Payroll and Finance staff across 20+ sites around the UK.
- Ensure payroll audit requirements are met.
- Reconcile / payment of third party payments.
- Payroll nominal reconciliations.
- Produce payroll recharge reports and invoices.
- Company secretarial support duties, including annual returns, Companies House returns.
- Process SAYE minutes and update the share register.
- Ad hoc administrative duties.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- 3-4 years experience in processing a payroll function from end to end.
- Knowledge of employment taxes and pension s auto enrolment & administration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good team working skills and self-discipline.
- Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced in Excel.
- Experience of payroll software packages.
- Knowledge of payroll projects and initiatives.
- Experience in implementing SOPs.
