What you'll do:
As an International Payroll Specialist, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee payroll changes, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple countries. You will work closely with the International Payroll Manager and other stakeholders to ensure efficient processes are maintained. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in conducting monthly analyses of payroll data, preparing reports, dealing with queries from various parties, and assisting in global mobility tasks. Your commitment to this role will contribute significantly to the overall success of the payroll function.
. Review, approve, and submit payroll changes to payroll partner/systems across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations
. Conduct monthly analysis of payroll data for final approval, identifying and resolving any arising issues
. Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations and identify anomalies for preparation of financial reporting
. Deal with queries from authorities, third parties, employees, and stakeholders
. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure controls are maintained and communicate legislative changes that will impact their area
. Assist in global mobility and employment tax tasks in relation to payroll & benefits
. Support International Payroll Manager with audits, risk assessments, and projects affecting payroll
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the International Payroll Specialist role brings a wealth of experience in both UK and international payroll. With at least three years' experience in each field, you have developed strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Your basic knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, HR policies and practices, and benefits legislation will be essential in this role. You are proficient in Excel and have excellent customer service and communication skills. Your commitment to understanding and empathising with the needs of employees and stakeholders makes you an ideal fit for this role.

. At least 3 years of previous international payroll experience
. Strong organisational skills
. Basic knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
. Proficiency in Excel
