Your new companyOur client is a national civil engineering and construction company who have won a 10-year contract with a local council to provide streetlighting. They support both public and private sector clients with major road, rail, and air infrastructure projects. They are a growing family-run business who over a fantastic benefits package, development opportunities, and exposure to a fast-paced, varied environment.Your new roleYou have the opportunity to work part-time (24 hours) or full-time (40 hours) across multiple Suffolk depots (Melton/Debden/Lowestoft). Reporting to the Operations General Manager, and part of the Local Authority Business department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company is hit with the least penalties. The role includes KPI performance measurement, gathering and cleansing data (MicrosoftBi). If working full-time, you will take on extra responsibilities, such as cost allocation and booking-in jobs with the correct codes. You will support internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Area Managers) with works and preparing programming schedules, producing reports and analysing to contribute to monthly KPIs. In addition, you will conduct secretarial duties such as minute taking, actioning, and scheduling meetings.What you'll need to succeedThis is a fast-paced role that requires a highly organised and efficient administrator with prior experience in a dynamic and technical role. It is essential you have commercial and accounts experience and excellent IT knowledge (all MS Office programs, including PowerBi). It would be advantageous if you have knowledge of web-based systems (i.e. SharePoint). You will have outstanding communication and customer service skills, with strong organisational skills and be detail oriented.
