About the role
It's an exciting time to join the team here at AXA Health, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. In support of these goals, we're looking for a Platform Operations Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting into the Salesforce Platform Owner, you'll focus on day-to-day operational aspects of running our core Salesforce platform that underpins our digital transformation ambition.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you'll be doing:
Managing platform support team activities focused on proactive monitoring, responding to incidents and user access requests
Improving interactions with the UK-wide IT service desk
Organizing platform support team involvement in the release management process
Overseeing Salesforce environment management and other lifecycle management activities, including planning for future Salesforce quarterly platform updates with our wider Digital teams and business stakeholders
Ensuring robust licence management and forecasting with project and operational stakeholders
Driving documentation of key processes
About you
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a technology operations role
Proven experience managing IT support teams
Knowledge of best practices in IT service management
Understanding of agile delivery practices
Salesforce experience is desirable
Experience working in a regulated environment such as financial services or health services is beneficial
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Strong prioritisation skills
