Watkins is a family owned Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing sub-contractor.  Located in the Southeast, the company has now been trading over 60 years. We are looking to recruit a number of supervisors to work on sites throughout London and the key job tasks include:

• You will supervise directly employed and sub contract site teams primarily on new build residential schemes to ensure there is adequate resource and production so works progress as programmed
• Provide progress reports and trackers periodically
• Schedule and arrange call off and delivery of materials and equipment
• Plan and manage plant and hire equipment on site
• Be responsible for maintaining H&S standards including site-based inspections and audits
• Carry out inductions and safety briefings
• Attend weekly meetings and liaise with client and other contractors representing the company
• Set benchmarks and standards for install, carry out test & inspection audits to ensure quality standards are maintained and met

Essential Qualifications Required for Plumbing & Mechanical Supervisor role:

• City & Guilds 6035 Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies

or

• HVAC Level 3 Diploma

Additionally:

• CSCS Card – Gold Installers Advanced
• SMSTS - CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme

THE INDIVIDUAL:

• You will have likely worked your way up from an apprenticeship and now be in a supervisory role
• You will be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people across the construction industry from sub-contractors to project managers & consultants
• You should be able to walk a large construction site set over many floor levels
• Have proven management Installations
• You must be able to undertake high level & low-level Q&A
• Manual handling including assisting in unloading heavy deliveries of stock if required
