Principal Designer Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 regulations and other relevant legislation
- Conduct site inspections at all construction phases
- Manage design risk ensuring building control is satisfied over a varied portfolio of clients
The Principal Designer should possess
- Knowledge of Building control and Building regulations
- A member of a professional body: CABE/MICE/RIBA
- A degree in a technical building qualification: Engineering/Civil Engineering/Architecture (preferable)
