Overview
TRC's IGS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal, Energy Transition with experience in electric and gas utility operations implementing and integrating various grid technology solutions including but not limited to, Operational Technologies, Advanced Metering, DERMS, GIS and ISO/RTO market solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful delivery of projects and the development and maintenance of the customer relationship at a designated client, or clients (Client).
- Identifies opportunities at the Client and works with the TRC sales organization and the appropriate Practice Leaders to successfully address and convert into projects the identified opportunities.
- Has oversight and delivery responsibility for the TRC's IGS portfolio of projects at the Client. The is the first level of escalation for resolution of delivery issues.
- A natural leader who acts as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully leads the TRC's IGS project teams to accomplish all the project(s) objectives on time and on budget.
- Excellent communicator, you'll develop strong relationships with the key Client stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading and managing large-scale, multifaceted enterprise-wide Operational Technologies Projects in an electric or gas utility environment
- Experience in IT/OT within T&D Organizations
- Demonstrated project manager level experience managing multiple, concurrent software delivery projects.
- Minimum of 10 years program/project management experience with documented experience managing software implementation projects with a $5M project budget or greater.
- Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills.
- The successful candidate will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge
- Excellent organizational, decision making and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills ranging from addressing C-Level to multiple technical teams
- Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent team building and motivational skills
- Excellent budgeting and financial skills
- Proficiency with MS-Project and with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, a related field or equivalent working experience.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
