To act as the Senior Corporation Technical/Construction representative on all projects allocated, these projects are large legacy projects with construction values in excess of 300m.

Our client is a unique public sector organisation that governs the historic centre and financial district of Greater London.
Description
As Principal Project Manager, you'll be responsible for/expected to have:
- In depth understanding and knowledge of construction contracts and should be able to act as the contract administrator on projects when required.
- Taking charge of the project deliverables and supervise the overall performance of consultants or contractors ensuring project is as per programme and budget.
- Report to the appropriate Committees on progress with the projects and liaise with Chairman, Project Sponsors Co-Sponsors and Elected members as necessary
- Manage the budgets for all assigned Projects and approve release of staged payments to contractors and consultants
Profile
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- A track record of delivering large, complex projects from inception through to completion
- Significant experience in the construction industry and understand the construction processes & contracts
- Degree in a Built Environment related discipline such are Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying or similar
- Member or working towards chartership of a professional body such as RICS, APM, CIOB
- Project Management Qualification i.e APM
- Demonstrable experience of project management at a senior level
