We all knew that renewable energy was going to dominant the market for years to come, however, I think we have all underestimated how quickly they would rise to the top of the Construction and Engineering sector. With billions annually invested in building a better future there is no doubt that this trend will continue.
My client is a leading, global consultancy and are taking full advantage of this opportunity by delivering on some of the largest renewable energy projects worldwide. With rapid expansion over the last few years, they now sit with over 100,000 employees across more than 120 countries, and they are still looking to grow.
They are now seeking multiple dynamic procurement consultants of varying experience to defend their reputation for procurement excellence and lead their charge towards best-in-class.
Your role will be to deliver on a number of key procurement transformation projects across the Renewable Energy industry. In doing so you will:
- Unlock opportunities for commercial growth and costs savings through market analysis, presenting your findings to pivotal stakeholders, and supporting the consequential development of innovative procurement strategies.
- Support the transformation of existing procurement processes for an array of Blue-Chip clients. In doing so you will deliver on a number of traditional procurement activities - including, but not limited to strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and supplier relationship management.
Consultancy experience is not a pre-requisite for this role. However, the successful candidates will have:
- Strong experience across end-to-end procurement, I acquired through working on a number of high-value Construction, Engineering, or Renewable Energy projects.
- Strong academic background, educated to degree level, and ideally have obtained a CIPS Level 4 qualification.
- NEC 3, NEC 4, or FIDIC contracting experience. This is essential for this position.
