You will have a clear understanding of public contract regulations and CIPS Qualified. The successful candidate will have strong negotiation skills, the ability to think strategically and a proven record in the public sector effectively assessing and managing risk. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on working collaboratively, is a strong team player and has excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will work as part of the clients Business and Operations team, using your previous experience and expertise to deliver value for money.

My client is looking for someone who:
- Qualified to CIPs Level 4, or equivalent by way of 5 years public sector professional experience.
- Strives to deliver best practice at all times.
- Has experience procuring contracts within the public sector.
- Has excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Has strong negotiation and project management skills.
- Has the ability to work under pressure, with accuracy, unsupervised and on their own initiative.
The role will include:
- Shaping the procurement strategy for my client in line with the Trust's vision and values; analysing and interpreting spend data and information.
- Leading tenders and threshold procurement, where applicable, to ensure adherence to procurement legislation.
- Providing guidance and support to colleagues to ensure compliance with trust procedures and legislative requirements, ensuring value for money.
