We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.Salary: £61,110+ depending on skills & experience What you'll be doing:Providing leadership to category team and create an environment for high performing teams and individuals through setting robust SMART objectives, providing ongoing performance feedback and development planningBeing responsible for developing and delivering the procurement strategy for specific suppliers, including the delivery of agreed business objectivesEnsuring contracts with suppliers have commercial rigour which minimises exposure to risk, encourage innovation and incorporate improvement targets ensuring Supplier Relationship Management is standardised and implementedLeading supplier relationship activities for key suppliers, including contract negotiations in line with spend management and drive supply chain rationalisationLeading the Procurement inputs into Customer BidsLeading on solutions to support the programme team providing critical escalation and resolution to supply constraintsYour skills and experiences:Essential:Experience of establishing and managing supplier relationships through the completion of major sub contracts, and of compiling and negotiating contractsProven experience of functional commercial and procurement capabilities. Building effective Supplier and internal stakeholder relationships to lead major equipment modification programmes.
