Product Manager

My client are a fast-growing, award-winning business who offer once in a lifetime, travel experiences. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit a Product Manager who will be responsible for building new trips and destinations, whilst maintaining the already successful products on offer.
The right candidate will have long-haul destination experince, copy writing experience would also be a massive asset. You will be highly organised individual who is able to self-manage, experienced in relationship building with a passion for delivering excellent Customer Service, and constantly look for opportunities to improve business performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project management of developing commercially viable itineraries that deliver to current business standards and customer expectations
- Support and contribute to an evolving product range and maintaining existing products to meet and expand customer profile
- Identify and monitor key competitors both commercially and analysing new products and current trends
- Contract negotiations with new and existing partners and secure relevant hotel and product allocations within appropriate timeframes
- Build new and maintain relationships with our partners
- Lead product improvement through monitoring and acting upon customer feedback and product performance
- Assist the business in delivery of the product to the customer
- Support with delivering product training to the business
- Attend relevant tradeshows and overseas research trips as and when appropriate
Essential:
- Experience in Product or a contracting role within the travel industry
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Negotiation skills and commercially minded
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- Prepared to travel overseas as and when required
- Exceptional level of attention to detail
