Overview of the Product Manager

The Product Manager will help deliver innovation vision, specifically focusing on the development, build, and ongoing support of the client's platform. The Product manager will coordinate all aspects of the design, development, deployment and in-service use of the product and additionally will support the short-term design efforts of a new cloud-based solution.

Product Manager Duties:

  • Responsible for product discovery and development cycles; from idea, through requirements and design, development, testing, release, and feedback.

  • Source ideas (internally and externally) and work with the Solutions and Customer Success teams to prioritise and develop these concepts.

  • Deliver the business cases and ROI assessments for the solutions being developed and oversee evaluation of potential go-to-market strategies.

  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to foster a collaboration environment and ensure the right people are involved at the right time

  • Capture product requirements, user flows, and other documentation for ideas that are being tested.

  • Co-ordinate with the product owners and wider development team to ensure that product releases are built to time and quality.

  • Management, Personal Skills, Knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating that different areas in the business and different stakeholders, different product and project stages will require different communication outputs

  • Ability to foster a good environment where people feel comfortable with sharing their feedback

  • Have worked with discovery techniques in the past and have conducted discovery sessions, either by running them or by collaborating with the design team

  • Analytical mindset

  • Ability to prioritise and knowing how to elaborate on "why"

    Technical Knowledge

  • Jira and Confluence (or similar software)

  • Road-mapping software (eg Aha! or ProdPad)

  • Prototyping / Mock-up generation programs (eg. Miro, Figma, etc.)

    Experience and Track Record

  • Experience of working in a SaaS environment

  • Experience with working in a cross-collaborative environment

  • Experience with developing and deploying MVPs

  • B2B product experience

  • Qualifications, Accreditation's, Certifications, Memberships:

  • Accountancy / finance experience useful, but not mandatory.
