Futures Manufacturing are working with one of the largest manufacturer and distributers in the UK within their respective field. Due to a period of continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Production Manager who has worked within a fast-paced high volume manufacturing environment and is used to implementing lean strategies while working to ISO standards.

Production Manager, Lean, Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement

Previous work experience in a lean manufacturing environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of continuous improvement. The Production Manager ultimately chosen for this role will come from a custom manufacturing background be able to run a team of 45+ skilled workers.

• Manage a small team of semi-skilled and skilled operatives.
• Implement lean strategies.
• Understanding of ISO standard
• Work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ensure a safe working environment is paramount.
• Manage, sickness, disciplinarians, and bereavements.
• Oversee projects from start to finish managing stakeholders during the process.
• Reduce downtime of machinery
• Ensure production levels are in line with targets and client expectations.
