Job Advertisement: Project Administrator
Salary: £24,500 per annum

Grelson Limited T/A Marlowe are looking for a highly motivated and organised Project Administrator to join their dynamic team. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of supporting project managers in delivering high-quality service, they would love to hear from you!
Hours of Work:
Minimum 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch break
The role requires flexibility to meet the company's needs
Holiday Entitlement:
- Paid holiday entitlement of 28 days (including Bank Holidays), pro rata
- Holidays are calculated based on the period from 1st January to 31st December
- Holidays during the Christmas-New Year shutdown must be retained
- Holiday pay is calculated at your hourly rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with and support Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution
- Process site surveys and communicate them to relevant tradespeople
- Procure materials and services in line with project budgets and company policies
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials and services
- Administer the buying process, including purchase orders and system updates
- Use office software (email, spreadsheets, databases) and manage file systems
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and address customer/supplier issues promptly
- Update the Marlowe database system with accurate communication logs
- Produce client reports and maintain Marlowe Sage job costing
- Update client web portals and send start date letters/e-mails to policyholders
- Develop strong relationships with subcontractors and handle queries from tradespeople
- Produce letters and documents as required
- Maintain and update the company s filing systems and archive records
- Provide cover for colleagues during holidays and sickness
- Undertake general office duties (e.g., stationary ordering)
- Actively follow up on outstanding revisions and final accounts
- Comply with the company s Health and Safety Policy and Safe Systems of Work
- Undertake any necessary training to improve performance or develop your role
Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and databases
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Previous experience in a project administration or similar role is advantageous
