Walker Cole have partnered with a Global Pharmaceutical business to appoint a Project Engineering Manager to lead a multimillion pound Capital Expenditure project to create a new GMP Manufacturing Facility in the North West.

As the Project Engineering Manager you will:

• Create a clear set of Project Management and CAPEX Governance tools that ensures delivery on quality/cost/time
• Maintain the Site Master Plan - 5-year strategic development plan for the facility which in turn feeds the long-range forecast of CAPEX spending.
• Operate as part of the Sites Engineering Leadership team: setting strategy in line with corporate guidance and Good Engineering Practice
• The Project Engineering Manager will have full accountability for over £75M capital expenditure

The successful Project Engineering Manager will have:

• Proven experience managing pharmaceutical build projects (Green Field preferred)
• Proven experience handling large CAPEX budgets (£20M+ minimum)
• Formal Engineering Qualification (BEng, HND, MEng)
• At least 7 years of industry experience (pharmaceuticals strongly preferred)
