A main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This role involves managing a variety of refurbishment projects for a public sector framework contract with the local authority based in Reading.

The projects range in value from 50,000 to 1.5 million and include work on commercial offices, work yards, and local schools. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in client-facing project management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all project requirements are met and work is completed to the highest standard.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing Project Management role within the construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects ranging from 50k to 1.5m.
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
