A client within the Public Sector based in Leicestershire is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join their housing service improvement team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to be responsible for the oversight & delivery of the Housing Service Improvement.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Organise and attend project meetings, preparing all necessary project documentation such as project plans and risk registers, preparing and presenting highlight reports, supporting project delivery and ensuring approved budgets and deadlines are achieved.
- Provide project management expertise and guidance to other officers to assist 'in service' delivery of projects as appropriate and ensure effective completion of their delivery.
- Ensure that robust project and corporate governance arrangements are in place allowing for accountability and clarity of roles and responsibilities.
- Regular contact with other services, stakeholders, residents and elected members.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require experience of housing or property environments (and related activities) along with an understanding of the relevant human resources considerations will be advantageous. The client is keen on working with someone who has a good track record of effectively implementing business change.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £27.28 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
