Project Manager - £60,000 to £70,000 per year - Hybrid - South East England

FryerMiles are delighted to working with a globally renowned Maritime Defence business, to assist in hiring a Project Manager to join their team.

This is fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Project Manager to join this rapidly growing, and internationally recognised business working on major global maritime defence projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead, motivate and manage project team personnel to deliver project financial, schedule and technical goals
• Plan, monitor and control project costs to achieve budget expectations and prepare monthly financial and project status reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Work with the engineering team to manage project resources through resource planning
• Identify and manage the alleviation of project risks
• Develop proposals and quotations for customers
• Use Earned Value Management (EVM) to track project progress
• Raise issues and exceptions to appropriate levels for resolution.
• Provide insights on how to improve project design and processes for better overall delivery and value

Required Experience:

• Experience in Maritime sector
• Previous experience in Defence sector is desirable
• Candidate must be eligible for SC or DV clearance
• APM accreditation or equivalent is highly desirable
• Experience in Engineering and / or R&D is desirable
