Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Renewable Energy sectors. The role will be split between being site based 2 days p/w and remote working 3 days p/w. The role is outside IR35.

Role & Responsibilities

• Management of Projects during all phases from engineering through to construction.
• Acting as an integrated part of the end Client team, providing technical advice and project management services.
• Supporting projects including work such as tank refurbs, piping, loading road, and jetty development.
• Providing construction interface as well as liaising with client team.
• Producing budget costs and cash flow projections for projects.
• Planning, scheduling and monitoring progress on engineering projects.
• Maintain and developing relationships with key stakeholders on projects.
• Ensure that issues relating to HSE are effectively managed, in line with the clients policies and procedures.
• Produce progress reports and lead progress meetings with clients and internal team.
• Support and lead bids and tenders for future projects.

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Must be Degree qualified, Chartered status advantageous though not essential.
• Previous experience supporting major energy projects (eg. LNG, petrochemical or refining).
• Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial.
• Planning and organising, communication, team working and problem solving.
• Good level of numeracy, literacy and IT knowledge.

The role is outside IR35, c.12 months+ and offers flexibility in a remote working as well as a challenging work environment.
