The position:
Salter Grange is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the delivery of a c. 200m, 600-unit residential development in the London Borough of Newham. This significant project features a reinforced concrete (RC) frame structure across four blocks, comprising a mix of market sale, build-to-rent, and affordable housing, with a semi-basement and high-quality brick facades.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction and delivery of a large-scale residential development, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
• Develop and manage the project programme, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions where necessary
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication
• Lead and coordinate site and project teams, ensuring alignment with objectives and maintaining a collaborative working environment
• Ensure that all construction works, including RC frame, semi-basement, and brick facades, meet the required specifications and standards
• Uphold the highest health and safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
• Monitor project costs, drive value engineering opportunities, and ensure financial targets are achieved
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive resolution of any challenges

Requirements:

• Proven track record of delivering large-scale ( 50m+) residential projects, including RC frame new builds with mixed tenure
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction, basement structures, and brick facade finishes
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage stakeholders effectively
