We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor in the infrastructure and rail sector, who are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple rail-focused civil engineering projects in and around the Central Belt of Scotland.

The Role:
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering works within a live rail environment, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are met. This includes the full project life-cycle - from planning and design coordination through to delivery and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Network Rail standards and company procedures
Manage project teams including site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
Develop and maintain project programmes and resource plans
Manage health & safety on site, ensuring a culture of safety-first is maintained
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to ensure smooth delivery
Provide regular progress reports to senior management
Work closely with commercial teams to manage budgets, costs and change control
Requirements:
Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects in a rail environment
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
