Permanent, full time role in Newcastle NE4 - Project Manager within a manufacturing company.

• £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
• 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday
• Some hybrid flexibility
• 26 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays - increasing to 29 days with long service

About the role

• Deliver all projects in line with best practice methodology (managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting)
• Produce detailed project plans
• To take full responsibility for the management of the wider project team, including Third-party suppliers, assigned to the project.
• Interfacing with internal stakeholders across several departments
• Monitor the project ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and the appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Manage the expenditure within the project, ensuring all costs are recorded against products and services delivered.

The right candidate

• Extensive prior experience of leading projects and managing project budgets within a complex technical environment
• Evidence a demonstrable record of resolving issues that threatened to delay or seriously disrupt project goals (resource, budget or stakeholder in nature).
• Be qualified and experienced working with PRINCE2 at Practitioner level
• Be proficient in the use of MS Project
• Have excellent communication and diplomacy skills
