The Project
As an experienced Project Manager, you will be overseeing the groundworks package on a New Build Residential Development situated in North Yorkshire. You will collaborate closely with internal/external stakeholders to ensure the project meets progress timelines, budgets and quality standards.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid
It is also essential that you hold the experience below;
- Proven industry expertise with a track record of successfully completing groundwork packages
- Demonstrated history of successfully delivering projects in a similar position with build values in excess of 5m
- Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working with a leading construction contractor

Duties
- Ensure site health and safety
- Perform quality control inspections
- Assemble and lead the project team
- Procurement of materials / resources
- Monitor and control of sub-contractors
- Conduct quality and safety inspections
- Outline project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members
- Working closely and directly reporting to Managing Director
- Ensure work is completed to an exceptionally high standard
- Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
- Estimate and allocate the financial resources needed for the project
- Produce reports on the project's progress, challenges, and overall performance
- Monitor the project's progress against the timeline and make adjustments as necessary
- Regularly update principal contractor by providing consistent updates on the project's status
- Supervise project quality to ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications
- Overseeing health and safety throughout the site including conducting site safety inspections
- Coordinate and supervise all site operations to ensure that project goals and objectives are met
- Develop and manage a project schedule with deadlines and key milestones, ensuring compliance with the project plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, foster collaboration, and motivate team members to achieve project goals
