An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone currently operating within complex multi-disciplinary project management. Reporting to the Projects Director, the role will be to indirectly manage a manufacturing team (sales, design, production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, installation) to deliver multi-million pound machine design, build and installation projects within a variety of industries. You will also manage your own projects.
Project Manager - Responsibilities - Programme Manager, Prince 2, Mechanical Handling, Machinery, Automation, Robotics, Capital Equipment Lead, motivate and co-ordinate multidiscipline project teams within a complex engineering environment; ensuring that appropriate skills and experience are utilised to deliver projects in line with the business case. Ensure that all project requirements, work packages and tasks are correctly interpreted, planned, resourced and delivered on time and to budget. Ensure effective preparation for and management of all project phases and project deliverables, including: Project Briefs; Project Management Plans (PMP); project schedules; project budgets; and maintenance of tracking registers. Take responsibility for ensure effective preparation and presentation of project financial data including accurate budgeting, forecast updates, cost to complete (CTC) and Final Cost at Completion (FCAC), invoicing profile. Build, maintain and exploit strong relationships with customers, suppliers, internal departments, senior management and other project stakeholders managing expectations. Provide support to Sales team as required with business development activities that align with the Company's strategic growth objectives. Challenge engineering/project staff ensuring projects are deliverable and work content is appropriate.

Experience operating within a similar environment with machinery, automation, robotics or capital equipment Experience of managing multi-disciplined teams to deliver on time and on or under budget. Excellent organisational skills Strong commercial awareness Qualified to Prince 2 or equivalent desireable Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects High level IT skills
