Project Manager

Location: Bristol, Farnborough, Portsmouth, Salisbury, Boscombe Down

An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a multinational Defence & Technology company with offices across the UK.

Main responsibilities:

• Delivery of high value & complex projects
• Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners & suppliers
• Delivery of project outputs to agreed baselines (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash & sales)
• Ensuring project members operate in line with Operating Framework & Functional competency management requirements
• Resolving conflicts within the project and collaborating across the team
• Application of governance requirements (including full project lifecycle, project & independent reviews)
• Reporting progress on all accountabilities to programme/portfolio manager

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience in relevant sectors including: Defence, Aerospace, Government/Public Sector, Utilities, Engineering, regulated industries etc. are desirable
• Stakeholder Management: identifying, planning and implementing actions to positively engage parties with an interest in project outputs
• Leadership: influencing and aligning towards the vision for the project
• At least 2 years minimum in a project management role
• Relevant certifications including APM PMQ/Waterfall/Agile
• Must be eligible for UK SC clearance
